(Substance of messages given at Tuticorin Conference, Tamilnadu, India - January 2016)

1. If we are truly "justified by Christ's blood" (Rom.5:9) and "accepted" in Christ (Eph.1:6 KJV), then our past is no longer remembered by God (Heb.8:12). Then our past is sinless in God's eyes. And it will remain like that, as long as we are quick to repent and maintain a good conscience and also forgive all others - at all times (See Matt.18:23-35).

2. The most needful thing in our life is to listen to the Lord Jesus all the time (See Luke 10:38 and 42). It is only thus that every idol in our life will be destroyed (See Isaiah 30:21, 22).

3. The greatest proof of humility is total obedience to the Lord (Phil.2:8), which comes through dying to our own will always (2 Cor.4:10).

4. Living with your wife in an understanding way means to recognize at all times that she is a weaker vessel (1Pet.3:7). The husband being the head of the wife means that he leads his wife by his example and cares for every aspect of her life (as the brain cares for the whole body).

5. We must teach our children what Moses' mother taught him as a child: Never to seek after worldly honour, or the pleasures of sin, or worldly riches, but to be willing to suffer ill-treatment and reproach for Christ's sake. Moses remembered these, even when he was 40 years old (Heb.11:24-26).

6. The Lord writes His Word upon our minds first, giving us the desire to do His will. Then He will write it upon our hearts, giving us the ability to do His will as well (Heb.8:10; Phil.2:12,13). If He has done the first in us, then we must believe that he will do the second as well.

7. Each one of us must do our own part faithfully in the Body of Christ to build the church as a united "family", where each member cares for and encourages the others (1 Cor.12:24-27).

8. "Forgetting what lies behind us and reaching forth to what lies ahead" (Phil.3:13), means that every day, we live as if we have done nothing for the Lord thus far, but are eager to know what He wants us to do that day.

9. The overcomers standing on "a sea of glass" (a sea with no ripples - Rev. 15: 2) is a picture of the life of "perfect rest" that the Lord wants to give us - a life of constant joy that that is not disturbed by what happens (or does not happen) around us (Heb.4:9-11).

10. To "pray at all times" (1 Thes.5:17) means to pray like we breathe - at all times. It means to live in a constant attitude of helpless dependence upon the Lord for everything - like the branch that helplessly depends upon the tree - at all times - to produce fruit (John 15:5).
